Specifications

Support Column

• Main support column pieces are fabricated from 1" x 1" x 14 gauge mild steel ERW tubes.
• Pivot tubes are 3/4" outside diameter tubes of 14 gauge mild steel.
• Stop plates are 1/4" mild steel.
• Armrest support plates are fabricated from 1/8" mild steel.
• Backrest plates are fabricated from 1/8" mild steel.

Seat Support Strap

• Seat straps are fabricated from 3/16" x 1" mild steel.
• Counter weight is a solid 1" x 5/8" or 3/4" diameter mild steel.
• Pivot rod is 1/2" diameter round bar mild steel.

Welding

• All components are welded with an argon / CO-2 mix for cleaner, more consistent welds.
• All welding is performed by a computer-controlled robot welder.

Finishes

• All steel components are:
  • Powder-coated after application of a rust prohibitive coating, standard color is black.
  • Hot-dipped galvanized.

Plastic Moldings

• All polythene moldings are individually blow-molded using top-grade high-molecular polyethylene which contains antistatic and ultra-violet protection.
• This material is fully color-compounded which ensures that all additives are fully dispersed and uniform, this optimizing performance.
• The moldings are available in a range of standard colors:
  • Red
  • Garnet
  • Flag Blue
  • Ball Park Green
  • Light Maroon
  • Navy Blue
  • Athletic Purple
  • Deep Purple
  • Black
  • Gray
• Moldings can be matched to virtually any standard paint color in large quantities.

Armrests

• Armrests are blow-molded polyethylene which contains antistatic and ultra-violet protection.
• This material is fully color compounded which ensures that all additives are fully dispersed and uniform, thus optimizing performance.
• Color: Black.

Attachments

• Backrests and seats are attached to the framework with 1/4" diameter stainless steel bolts complete with washers and elastic locknuts.
• Attachment to concrete is with 3/8" galvanized steel wedge-style bolts.
• Attachment to aluminum planking or steel plate is with 1/4" aluminum/aluminum expansion rivets.
• Attachment to wood planking is with galvanized lag bolts.

Guarantee

• All materials and workmanship are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of completion.
• The plastic is guaranteed against fading due to exposure to the elements for a period of 5 years.
